For too long, the Forest has been cut off.
Since being elected, you’ve told me we need a second train station. And as your MP, that’s exactly what I’m going to push for.
That’s why Project Elton starts now.
The first step is a feasibility study, and to get that underway, I need to hear directly from you.
I want to understand what a new station at Elton Corner could mean for people across the Forest—and what you think needs to be considered as this project moves forward.
Your experiences matter. I want to take the real voices of people who live here into the room when I speak to local authorities and government, so decision-makers understand why this matters to us.
If you have concerns about the project, your contribution matters too. Every voice will be heard.
I have already started working, seeking support from Gloucestershire County Council and Forest of Dean District Council, writing to local parish councils and contacting ministers in government.
I won’t pretend this will be easy. It won’t be. But I am determined to push for Project Elton at every stage, at every hurdle, and in every meeting.
